Questions & Answers
What services do you offer?
I offer a range of services including web design, mobile app design, UX/UI design, responsive design, social media & marketing, and brand identity creation.
How do you approach a new project
The most important thing before starting any designs is to really understand the market space for the product or service/industry in question. Starting off often begins with scouring the internet to research visual and conceptual trends, as well as produce a competitor analysis matrix considering companies that are similar to compare what works and what doesn’t. In addition I allow myself to be guided by intuition to draw inspo from unrelated or standout, successful businesses that can really elevate my design vision.
What is your project timeline?
I like to work as fast as possible and envelop myself into the finer details, so all depending on the project type I would aim to stick to a design structure which allows me to provide different useful resources such as site maps, user journey maps, personas etc. Once the problem is clearly defined, ideation and iteration can be very back and forth until I feel happy with an map viable for a handover.
What platforms do you work with?
I tend to do most of my intricate vector design work on Figma. Depending on the project and if it’s collaborative or not I find this is the ideal software for me to use as it is has a very intuitive interface which I am well accustomed to. Other than the standard design tools like Sketch and Adobe Illustrator I also might use Miro for synthesising data from conducted research, Otter.ai to rapidly transcribe a user interview, Google drive to collate every deliverable for a project into one sharable folder, unsplash for obtaining free-too-use images & invision to prototype to name a few
